Assistant Instructor Program

Application Closed

What is an Assistant Instructor?

An assistant instructor is one who assists the main instructor for a class period. They help the instructor set-up the courses, help watch the class to ensure students are following along, and may even lead small parts of the class (example: warm-ups/cool-downs, teaching a move, helping students who are struggling, games, etc…).

The assistant will also have 5-15 minute end of class discussions with the head instructor and may be assigned homework. Homework will generally take 10-20 minutes per week.

The program generally does not have a set duration. Each person develops at different paces.
