Summer Camp Coach
Temporary Position

*~$17 - $28 / hr
*Base coaching rate is $17 / hr for the camp. You will receive a $1/hr bonus for each kid over the first 5 registered. Our camps default at 10-12 kids per camp, so a ‘full’ camp would earn $22 / hr.You may choose to increase capacity up to a max of 16 participants for a total of $28 / hr rate, as long as we get the required participants. We reserve the right not to raise the total # of students for certain camps that may be hindered by the capacity. Ask us for details!
You will also receive free unlimited Open Gym for 1 month in the summer. Coach 3 camps and get a full summer of unlimited Open Gym.

We offer two camp times for 2.5 hours of coaching per camp.
8:30am - 11am
12pm - 2:30pmEach camp offers 12.5 hrs per week. You can choose to run one or both camps each week, assuming availability.

Camps run for 10 weeks from June - August. Not all camps are available for coaches. We are flexible if you want to work only a few weeks or a lot of camps.
Desired that when choosing camps to run, you are available for the full week of that camp.

A camp leader is responsible for… well, leading the camp! You’ll be the main point of contact to ensure that the kids have a great experience with us!
You will also be:
• responsible for setting up and leading games, activities, and driving the camp storyline
• expected to provide a safe and inclusive experience for everyone expected to make sure the systems in place for the safety and well being of everyone
• responsible for upholding group morale and camp culture ultimately responsible for the campers’ experience
• the primary responder to campers’ emotions and conflict resolution
• expected to be the first contact for parent communication
• required to accompany your group throughout the day and participate in the various activities with the campers
• responsible for other duties that a coach / counselor has to perform to ensure a successful camp! -
So, what is needed for you to perform such a job?
We are looking for someone with great energy, who has a big personality and is great working with kids of all ages. Someone who is great at providing an amazing experience for everyone involved. We are looking for someone who can be professional while also being a fun and engaging.
The following are also preferred/required:
• Experience working with children
• Experience working with students on the spectrum (preferred)
• Experience with parkour preferred, but not required for most camps
• Enthusiastic and passionate
• High school graduate or equivalent, unless you have more than 1-2 years in the parkour community and/or have experience coaching
• CPR & First Aid Certified or willing to get it within 2 weeks of hire
• Able to pass a background check
Summer Camp Assistant

Desired that when choosing camps to run, you are available for the full week of that camp.
This position is entirely depending on which camps need assistants. There may only be a handful of camps available this summer for this position.

You are going to assist the camp coach’s camp! You will help ensure that the camp is fun for the kids, while making the main coach’s job a little easier.
You will also be:
• responsible for setting up for, assisting in leading, and enforcing rules for games and activities
• expected to provide a safe and inclusive experience for everyone expected to make sure the systems in place for the safety and well being of everyone
• responsible for keeping up the group energy and morale and setting a good example for everyone
• required to enforce the rules of the facility to ensure everyone is playing and training safely -
