Your Membership Helps
Thank you for continuing your membership during these challenging times. Especially during a period of closure, recurring memberships are our only way to ensure our small business is able to retain some revenue to pay rent and utilities. In both shutdowns, we have opted to keep memberships active since we did not know how long the closure period would last.
Of course, we understand everyone’s situation is different. Below are a few options for you.
Pause Membership
It doesn’t always make sense to keep your membership going during closure. If you need to pause your membership until we can re-open, please let us know.
Make-Up Classes
In our last closure, we offered make-up classes for everyone who continued their memberships with us. We’re happy to continue that offer. Make-up class duration will have a minimum duration equivalent to our shutdown period and longer for those who continue their membership once we re-open.
We’ll issue make-up classes once we re-open, if you want them. Simply request the make-ups and we’ll add them to your account.
Small class restrictions - if possible, we would ask that you request and use your make-ups AFTER we can increase our capacity to more than 6 students to give everyone a chance to attend classes regularly.
Donate Membership
If you’re a good position, donations will go a long way towards helping us recover faster. It will open up class spots to bring in much needed new business once we’ve re-opened. Here are a few ways you can donate instead of redeeming make-up classes.
Donations will be calculated once the closure is over.
Donate to a RVPK Scholarship Program
We have been wanting to start a scholarship program to allow students without the budget to gain access to our services. If you donate to this program, we will set your membership dues aside to a “Scholarship Pool” for this program.
Donate to Every Kids Sports
Every Kids Sports is a non-profit organization which provides quarterly scholarships for kids to participate in programs like ours. Their program has allowed a handful of students to attend our services, and we have been quite happy with what they do.
We will make a cash donation to them on your behalf using the value of your membership.
Donate to Revolution Parkour Tualatin
We are a small business who has been optimistically struggling. While we aim to survive the pandemic, we have definitely felt the challenge to our business. Our staff has accepted reduced hours and wages to keep costs down and the gym afloat. We want to avoid doing this as soon as possible so our staff can feel more secure in their lives.
Donating your membership to RVPK Tualatin will help make this a reality sooner.
